One thing I’ve never understood about our bus system is that there isn’t a single bus route connection to TIA.

With the cities plan to grow TIA and attract more airlines, Star Metro should add a bus, to the airport for College students and downtown residents who want to go to their airport but don’t want to pay for parking, or don’t own a vehicle.

A potential route could be something like:

TIA –> Downtown –> C.K. Steele –> FSU –> College Town –> FAMU

Or

TIA –> FAMU –> College Town –> FSU –> C.K. Steele –> DOwntown

It wouldn’t have to be something super fancy, but even a bus every hour would give a basic public transit connection.

Since StarMetro is working on its 2027 Transit Development Plan, this seems like a good time for residents to push for the idea and see if we can get an airport route included in their future plans.
