i was with my PCP at HCA primary care southwood in 2025, and then they switched to the HCA primary care bannerman in 2026. during my visit there this year, my PCP mentioned several of the providers, including themself, were leaving leaving HCA and transitioning over to tallahassee medical group.

i remember when tallahassee primary care associates went bankrupt and closed, and several of providers moved to TMG. is something similar happening with HCA primary care locations, or is this a separate situation? i know TMH and TMG are affiliated, so does this have to do with the new FSU health and TMH merger?

has anyone heard anything about what’s going on or know more about it? are there any news articles or announcements that go into more detail?
