Just a reminder to everyone who voted by mail: please make sure you confirm your status that your ballot has been received and counted. If you signed up for alerts, you should get a text/email. You can also go on the supervisor of elections website to look up the status of your ballot.

My husband and I always drop our ballots in the same USPS dropbox near us because the envelopes don’t fit in our outgoing mail slot. We’ve never had an issue, and we always get the update the next day that our ballot has been picked up and then within another day that our ballots were counted. This time, we put them in the same dropbox. It has now been a few days, and we’ve received no confirmation alerts and the website still only shows our ballots were sent, not received. I just called, and they said they have not received our ballots.

Tomorrow is the last day of early voting, and the rep we talked to told us to go in person to vote tomorrow to ensure our votes get counted.

So if you haven’t checked your status yet, please make sure to do so! Besides getting lost in the mail, they can also reject signatures, etc, so just make sure you’ve been counted!
