Hi y’all, this post really sucks to make. I adopted this 1.5 year old boy named Woody in August from a college student off facebook who took him in from her apartment cat colony. He was originally a stray and is estimated 1.5 years old by the vet, he is FeLV/FIV negative, vaccinated, neutered, and litter box trained. Ever since I moved this semester he seems different and unhappy. My roommate has two other cats, we acclimated them after a couple weeks with smells and seeing behind closed doors and we scheduled letting them roam the house at separate times. But he honestly has not been the same since I moved. My other two kitties are fine, but Woody is closed off and seems agitated. And me and his previous foster agree this environment is stressful for him and the new cats might just be too much. It’s not fair to him, he deserves a calmer environment where he can get lots of love and care. And as a college student who also works I can’t be home 24/7 I am hoping to get him rehomed soon and want to avoid the shelter if possible since I know euthanasia is likely. If you have any questions please DM me, I really want to find him a proper home. submitted by /u/idontpoop69 |
