Hi all,

(Very) Novice “gardener” here. I started a lot of seeds and it’s gone very well… and I was just planning on container gardening. But I didn’t realize that to give the plants enough space for their roots I’d need 2-5 gallon pots for each plant.

Does anyone have advice for how to make their own cheap potting soil mix? Or to buy in bulk from somewhere? I have like 40 plants started (lol).

I would prefer to stay away from synthetic chemicals in the soil as well.
