I am 1 week sober and looking to get into hobbies aside from video games, pokemon cards, and baseball cards. I’m a huge baseball fan and would love to find a group to play with. I do not have enough friends to make a team myself. 34m, 6’0, 195lbs if you’re picky about the physical aspect.

Prefer catcher but can play anywhere on the field. Fielding is my strong suit and I will always lay out for a ball, assuming little-to-no risk of a run coming in via error.

When pitching I tend to stick to sliders, sinkers, circle changes, and knuckleballs. Haven’t hit live pitching in many years but I have a tee and some acreage to practice. Also considering building a batting cage on an unused tennis court on my property.

Not sure if this is the right timing, since the actual MLB postseason just started. I don’t know if we’re synced up to that.
