How am I supposed to live off of 15 an hour at a state job really. If I never get my foot in the door I can’t advance. I just got a decent job paying 20 an hour doing painting.

Now I’m sitting here with my dual degree thinking none of that shit was worth it. I could go to McDonald’s and get paid the same. And yes ik the benefits are good but benefits don’t pay bills…

So what should I do moving forward. Like take the job just because I need the experience? I’m really at a loss for words. I know that’s not forever and once I’m in I can look for a better job but it’s just beyond me frl….
