• The Frenchtown Farmer’s Market is back! This is less of an event and more of a heads up. The Frenchtown Farmer’s Market has returned on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month, 10am to 2pm. They will have popular, returning vendors and a variety of new vendors from the local area selling their products for the first time, including their program graduates. • Bar(d) Crawl 2026. The season opens September 18–19 with the fifth annual Bar(d) Crawl, an immersive theatrical adventure featuring four Shakespeare scenes performed across three local bars, Hummingbird Wine Bar, The Monroe, and Battle Pony. • New Works Festival from White Mouse Productions at Moore Auditorium. The National MagLab exists to provide magnetic fields that are more than a million times stronger than the Earth’s magnetic field to thousands of visiting researchers every year. It turns out that magnetic fields are a remarkably flexible research tool at the frontiers of research in physics, engineering, chemistry, environmental sciences, biology, and biomedicine. This talk by Gregory S. Boebinger, Professor of Physics, Florida State University, Director Emeritus, National High Magnetic Field Laboratory will survey a variety of creative uses of high magnetic fields at the National MagLab to convey the excitement of present-day research using the most powerful magnets in the world. 6pm

• Museum of Fine Arts FSU: Fall Family Fun Day. We will host a children’s book reading of “Big Dance” by Aoife Greenham, followed by a fun dance performance. It follows Pippa as she watches her friends express themselves through dance and learns how she, too, can express herself with her own special dance moves.
