who remembers the Alumni Village back in the day? anyone live there or visit? it was billed as “non-traditional” student housing for the colleges in the area. the apartments were all railroad and the AC was terrible and the whole thing was smack dab in the middle of an area so bad sometimes the campus bus drivers would refuse to even go near the gates because bus drivers had guns pointed at them. once inside though, it was constant partying with grad students. and it was walking distance to the college golf course. rent was cheap af. anyone have any stories? i had my shirt stolen from the laundry right out of a dryer and i saw the dude wearing it the next day. the place is all gone now, nothing but a faded sign to mark it. submitted by /u/ShowerGrapes |
