Who: Tallahassee Nerds & Geeks (TNG) Meet & Greet

What: meet-up to talk nerdy/geeky stuff and maybe play boardgames

When: Sunday (it’s always the third Sunday of the month) August 16th, 4 to 6p.m.

Where: Lofty Pursuits, 1355 Market Street, Suite A11

Why: Our fearless leader (no sarcasm, because it takes guts/effort to put yourself out there,) Phil, started the group when he was new to Tallahassee as a way to meet people and make friends. This could be your opportunity as well! Ages have ranged from 16 to 80s, and because it’s at Lofty we tend to be mindful of our surroundings, so not too bawdy.

— If Sunday isn’t an option, we also have “Beer & Cheer” the first Tuesday of every month at Hobbit American Grill – East, from 6 to 8pm.
