Hello. I’m moving to Midtown from out-of-state, and I was hoping to get some feedback on internet providers. My rental portal offers two options: Xfinity and Earthlink. I am not familiar with Earthlink, but the price being offered is lower than Xfinity.

For context, I am an incoming FSU graduate student. My internet usage will largely consist of using Microsoft Office Suite, streaming live TV and movies, and using my PS5. Reliability is important.

I have seen on other posts that T-Mobile fiber internet (Metronet) is the top choice. Unfortunately, it isn’t available for my address. T-Mobile 5G home internet is an option, but I’ve seen mixed reviews for that.
