Big Bend: Southwood Coffee & Cars (Second Saturday): September 13th from 8:00-10:00 a.m. behind El Jalisco. All makes, models, and cars are welcome at this family-friendly event. 44th Annual 5K for Sickle Cell Anemia & Tim Simpkins 1 Mile: September 13th, beginning at 8:00 a.m., with the course going through the Jake Gaither Neighborhood. Proceeds from the race go to the Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc. Downtown Market in Tallahassee: September 13th from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Ponce De Leon Park. There will be among dozens of local artists, craft vendors, and food trucks. The 850 Card Show: September 13th & 14th at North Florida Fairgrounds. It’s 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Sunday. There will be over 150 tables filled with Sports Cards, Sports Memorabilia, Pokemon, Magic, Comics, and much more. This is event is open to all. FAMU vs Albany State: September 13th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Bragg Stadium. Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra’s 45th Concert Season opener: September 13th, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall at FSU. Ticket prices range from $42-$74.South Georgia: Music in the Art Park in Valdosta: September 12th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Turner Center Art Park. 2RiverStation, Kerri Kent, and Jolyn Smith will be performing. This is a family-friendly event. You’re encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Food and beverage vendors will be on site. 2025 Literary Fair in Valdosta: September 13th from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Turner Center for the Arts. The fair will highlight the work of local and regional writers/authors through author talks, book sales, and book signings. Admission is free. Second Saturday in Bainbridge: September 13th, come out and explore the Downtown area by shopping local. 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration: September 13th from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. at Cairo Mainstreet off N Broad St. There will be food, live music, dancing, a resource center, and so much more.
